She found herself at the mercy of one of the warriors who then tasked her to deliver a missive for reinforcements.Courageously she ran all the way to New Gridania, even though peril was at her wake, and met a wandering merchant.He was busy dealing with his homebrewed ale spiced with secret ingredients that would unlock one's potential skills to the next level. The merchant said that his ale was blessed and touched by a grimalkin's paw which made his ale unique from any other ale in the world. This piqued the interest of the young Miqo'te adventurer and bought all the ale from the not so suspicious merchant. The merchant went his merry way, and soon he was no longer in her view.And so without a hint of doubt she drank the ale, and the brew was nothing she had ever tasted before! Alas, the beverage was severely a sham! The merchant got away with her gold, and has seemingly vanished from the face of the realm.Staggering and almost losing consciousness, she vowed to become a trustworthy trader who provides only the best and finest liquors and meals in town.And off she went to forge her dream! Few years later she met her two greatest partners - a lovely bard maiden who is also an exceptional cook, and a damn rich white mage Elezen who doesn't know what to do with his overflowing wealth.Together they created the tavern and named it The Grimalkin's Paw Tavern.As for the missive - lets just say the bad ale made her forget her mission. Who knows what happened to the troops! At least her true dream is slowly becoming true. And the newly established tavern shall be her wings of inspiration!
